More about Michael

There are probably people wondering and given your actual career choice within IT infrastructure, how did you get into screenwriting, where did you get your inspiration from and how?
Who would you say has been your main inspiration in film?
There are several great directors who all inspired me in their own way, but the one who has been most inspiring of them all is probably Mr. Alfred Hitchcock.

There are so many great directors, just to name a few in no particular order. Orson Welles, Mel Brooks, George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, Martin Scorsese, Kathryn Bigelow, James Cameron, Luc Besson, Ron Howard, Ridley Scott, and many, many more.

What is your main goal in writing screenplays?
I'd be lying if I said that writing screenplays is enough for me, that would be a big lie! My biggest dream would be to have one (or several) of my and my wife's screenplays to become a film on the big screen. That would be awesome, that's my biggest dream.

Last question:  What was your first movie that got you hooked on cinema?
As I can remember it was H.G Wells "The War of the Worlds". I was hooked straight away by this alien machines, space and all the things about Sci-Fi. But, of course in addition to all the great Disney cartoons and films before that.  :-)
